Action Water Sports has been named Number 21 Boat Dealer in North America by Boating Industry Magazine. The Top 100 ranking recognizes the creme de la creme of marine dealers that are unsurpassed in overall business operations, customer service, marketing, and professionalism. It is one of the most coveted awards in the marine industry.
We are very proud to be recognizes as one of Boating Industry’s top dealers in North America. Boating Industry’s editorial staff reviewed almost 250 applications, culled from more than 3,000 nominations. The application asked both quantitative and qualitative questions regarding all aspects of marine dealer operations. Dealers were rated on not only performance but also quality initiatives such as continuous process improvements, marine industry and personal certifications, on-off water training for customers, customer service initiatives, and dealer dress code.
Action Water Sports is the only Dealer in Michigan to receive a ranking in the top 25 and one of just 3 dealers in the state of Michigan to be named in the Top 100. In 2007, Action Water Sports was also listed as the best boat dealer in North America with 3 locations by the same organization.
Five Star Certified
Action Water Sports is also one of the first Marine Industry Certified Dealerships. This program provides dealers with a set of criteria designed to create continuous improvement across all departments and, in turn, develop processes for meeting and exceeding customer expectations. The criteria and business best practices address the quality of dealer sales, service, parts, followup, facilities, as well as employee and customer satisfaction. Criteria compliance must be verified by an independent program consultant, and dealers are reevaluated every year to ensure they continue to meet the certification requirements.
